Overview
Beautifully restored while preserving its original character, this Grade II listed cottage feels entirely at home in its surroundings. Once home to Dolly Pentreath, one of the last native speakers of the Cornish language, the cottage bears a plaque in her honour and offers a stay with real local character.
Stepping inside, the living room is charming, with a log burner to keep guests cosy during the cooler months. There are two beautiful en-suite bedrooms – one on the first floor and one on the lower ground floor. The main bedroom upstairs is a gorgeous space, with glimpses of the sea beyond the rooftops and a luxurious en-suite bathroom featuring a freestanding bath. The second bedroom downstairs is every bit as inviting, with its own styling and an en-suite bathroom.
Outside, a delightful front terrace provides a sunny spot for morning coffee, afternoon drinks, or simply watching the world go by slowly.
Guests staying at Berakah can enjoy the simple pleasures that make Mousehole so special: morning coffee by the harbour, a walk along the coast path towards Lamorna, fish and chips on the quayside, a browse through the village galleries, then back to the cottage as evening settles gently over the bay.

Good Housekeeping Bond or Accidental Damage Waiver: We ask our guests for a £150 Good Housekeeping Bond, pre-authorised against your credit card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterward if there is no damage. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this.
Alternatively, a one-off, non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver of £30 can be added to your booking to replace the Good Housekeeping Bond and can be added as an extra when processing your booking.
Pets: 1 dog allowed. £40 per dog, per week, in line with our house rules we do ask that dogs are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the upstairs/bedroom areas

Welcome to Mousehole
Before you book one of our Mousehole holiday cottages, you need to know one thing. The name of this beautiful little resort is pronounced ‘mowzul’. Now that’s cleared up, let’s begin. Arriving in this sleepy fishing village is a little bit like stepping into a fairytale. Found just three miles from Penzance, Mousehole is one of those destinations where time seems to stand still. Boats bob in the harbour, waves lap the beach and cafes serve the catch of the day. If you want to experience the Cornwall of days gone by, this is the perfect place to do it.
