Small yet perfectly proportioned, An Selder has everything you’ll need for a truly comfortable stay.

A large glass door connects the sunny kitchen/diner to a pretty courtyard garden at the front of the apartment, creating a lovely space for fair weather relaxation and al fresco dining. The separate living room is cosy, with comfortable seating, a Smart TV and Bluetooth sound system. The elegant master bedroom with views of the courtyard is furnished with a king-size bed. Built into the rock, the property has a unique and boutique feel, with exposed stone featured in the contemporary bathroom. Flagstone flooring and original timber beams enhance the apartment’s historic appeal, complemented by modern features such as a free-standing bath, double shower, and fully equipped kitchen.

Set on the west bank of the Fowey Estuary in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the water is central to life in the pretty town of Fowey. Hire kayaks and spend a morning paddling or stroll over to Readymoney Cove for a salty swim and sunbathing. Hidden down a private passageway off Fowey’s main street, this apartment’s location on Trafalgar Square is brilliant. Just footsteps from the waterfront, stunning sea views are mere metres from the front door. Bufala pizza restaurant is next door, and The Ship Inn pub is opposite. Independent cafés, restaurants, lifestyle shops and galleries are also within easy reach. Step out onto the coast path to St Catherine’s Castle, and Gribben Head, or take the passenger ferry across the water to the quaint village of Polruan, where there are more lovely walking routes to explore.

Pets: 1 pet allowed. £40 per pet, per week, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the upstairs/bedroom areas

The grand en-suite has a free-standing bath and double shower with a waterfall shower head, a mirror, basin and WC
Beyond the bathroom is a utility space with storage for coats and boots as well as the washing machine, iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner
Outside
The pretty, enclosed courtyard with a bistro table and chairs is a lovely place for soaking up the sunshine. A portable coal BBQ is provided for guest use
The courtyard is accessed via big glass doors from the kitchen/diner
Bikes and beach gear can also be stored here, and there’s an outside tap for rinsing off sand
Parking
This property doesn’t offer parking however you can stop close by for a few minutes while unloading bags, and both main car parks in Fowey are less than 10 minutes’ walk away
There is a bus from the Parish Church on Webb Street to the main car park which is very near the apartment (Bus number 724)
If the main car park is full, Caffa Mill is also 10 minutes’ walk there is no longer a bus service from here
