Tastefully styled and fabulously equipped with a spacious open plan design and a gorgeous lounge/ kitchen / diner, guests can truly unwind in complete comfort after days of exploring the local attractions and beaches in the area. Large bi-fold doors from the main living space open out to a private balcony where views over the water and across to neighbouring Shaldon, create the perfect spot for sundowners and fresh-air dining. The property’s two stunning bedrooms include a master en-suite with king size bed, and a twin that can be made up as a king size to offer flexibility to suit all guest parties. A separate family bathroom ensures convenience and comfort for all, while underfloor heating throughout means that during the cooler months, the apartment stays warm and toasty.

There are several great beaches within easy walking distance from the apartment’s front door including Teignmouth’s popular Back Beach which is just a 5-minute walk away. When the tide is low you can walk right round to the main beach where you’ll find seaside eateries, ice-cream kiosks, and a public green with go-karts, tennis courts and themed mini golf. The town bursts with restaurants, cafes and shops making it perfect for enjoying the Devon weather. Nearby, the South West Coast Path offers a scenic coastal trail along the sea wall, while the rugged landscape of Dartmoor National Park can be reached within 30 minutes by car.

A seasonal ferry from Back Beach hops over to Shaldon which is a lovely day out, while the larger town of Torquay, which is just 15-minute drive away, is where you’ll find the beautiful Cockington Country Park, Torre Abbey and Babbacombe Cliff railway.

    Security Deposit: We ask our guests for a £100 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved (held as a pending transaction) and then released afterwards if there is no damage or additional cleaning. This will be held on the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival.

    Type of heating: Underfloor heating throughout
    Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (If your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
    Travel cot and highchair: Not provided however guests are welcome to bring their own
    Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a Wi-Fi dongle.
    Coffee Machine: Nespresso pod machine
    Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.
    Additional information: Guests have access to a shared communal gym located on the ground floor of the building. There is also an outside drying area for wetsuits and beach gear.

    Amply equipped with a range of kitchen utensils, cookware, crockery, cutlery, and glassware.

Together with its dining suite and glass balustrade (to maximise the views) it creates a luxurious space for fresh-air feasts and evening drinks. On warm days the bi-folds can be pushed back to extend the inside entertainment space out, while outdoor lighting means guests can linger round the table, long after the sun has set

    A communal gym with weights and a cross-trainer can be found on the ground floor of the Grand Banks building, and there’s a separate outdoor area where guests and residents can hang clothes to dry

    There is a designated parking space for one vehicle in the secure underground car park, which also features an electric car charging point available for three-hour slots
