Overview

Located in the quiet hamlet of Compton, near Marldon, the atmosphere is one of peace and privacy, with very few neighbouring properties and open views across the countryside. Inside, the bright and open-plan living area combines a contemporary kitchen and dining area, with two sofas and a TV creating a relaxed place to unwind.
The barn’s two bedrooms include a light-filled master bedroom with a king size bed, and a twin, making it idea for couples and families, and there’s a tasteful family bathroom with walk-in shower. Outside, the setting is spectacular, with open countryside stretching out as far as the eye can see, and an outdoor seating area being the perfect place for fresh-air dining, barbecues and relaxation while taking in the view.

For those looking to eat out, the fabulous Bickley Mill Inn is a 2-minute drive while local favourite Church House Inn is 5 minutes. Within a short drive, you’ll find the towns of Paignton and Torquay with their fantastic sandy beaches, restaurants and attractions like Cockington Country Park, Torre Abbey, Paignton Zoo and Kents Caverns. Totnes and Dartington are less than 20 minutes’ drive, while the vibrant harbour town of Brixham is under half an hour by car.

Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen.
