Within easy access of the A30, this fantastic home is perfectly placed as a base from which to explore the delights of Cornwall, and being less than three miles from the dog-friendly and wheelchair accessible beach of Perranporth, the location of the property offers visitors a special combination of countryside tranquility and coastal adventure.
Newly built, The Coachman’s Halt feels full of character with a rustic porch opening through an extra wide entrance door into an open-plan living space, complete with chunky overhead beams and a unique, reclaimed antique chandelier. A pair of grand Chesterfield sofas frame the space, which also includes a wall-mounted flatscreen television and family sized farm-style dining table.
A thoughtfully designed kitchen with height adjustable sink and height adjustable ceramic hob as well as low-level storage cupboards, a low height microwave, side opening oven and a remote-controlled fan mean whipping up those culinary classics is a complete breeze.
Sleeping four guests, the property has two large bedrooms with a shared en-suite that includes underfloor heating and a full wet room to easily accommodates a mobile hoist if required. Bright, superior quality linen and fluffy white towels are just a couple of the luxurious touches that guests can expect to enjoy, with Smart televisions in both bedrooms providing the option to enjoy a spot of evening viewing from the comfort of the bedrooms.
To make the most of sunny mornings and warmer evenings, Coachman’s Holt provides not only a lovely sandstone area within a fully enclosed, lawned garden but also a private hot tub. With true Cornish hospitality, guests are welcomed to the property with a traditional cream tea including homemade scones, Jam and Cornish clotted cream - the perfect way to begin a memorable stay in one of Cornwall’s most loved destinations.

Lovely cottage spotless throughout didnÂ’t want for any thing will be definitely going again next year to try some off the other cottage as they are all in a lovely quiet location and not to far from popular seaside resort

Christmas at the Coachman's Halt

Spent lovely few days here, the weather could most definitely been better but everything else was perfect. My husband and I visited with my daughter (a full time wheelchair user), her partner and our two little dogs. The place was idyllic, we put up a small artificial Christmas tree and some fairy light in the window, it couldn't have looked prettier. The facilities were great, my daughter was able to cook as the units were accessible and moved up and down to suit her needs, the wet room was spacious, she doesn't need a hoist but if one were needed there is plenty of space for one. The temperature was spot on, I could go on but all in all it was just perfect and I would love to return when the weather is a little better to make good used of the hot tub and surrounding area.
