With its stylish interior and fantastic balcony the apartment is perfect for couples or families looking to enjoy a magical seaside break in a pretty coastal village setting. Inside you’ll discover a superb open-plan living space featuring floor to ceiling glass, and doors that open out on to a large furnished balcony. Glazed balustrades deliver unobstructed views, with an outdoor sofa and chairs making it the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee or to watch the sun set, a glass of bubbles in-hand.

Designed with socialising in mind, the living area flows seamlessly into the dining room and kitchen so that spending time together whether preparing a meal or whilst relaxing on the sofa, is effortless. The penthouse features two spacious light-filled bedrooms with the sophisticated master having its own sumptuous en-suite. The second twin bedroom which can be made up into a king on request, is beautifully welcoming with a large window alcove giving a touch of architectural flair to the room.

Wall art including prints by well-known artist Becky Bettesworth add a homely edge to the interior where sleek lines and designer furnishings combine to give the space a contemporary coastal feel. Enjoy luxurious touches like handmade Cornish sea salt soap as well as a cabinet stocked with locally produced gins and tonics, that provide a personalised and bespoke experience to guests during their stay at this wonderful holiday home.

We ask our guests for a £150 Good Housekeeping Bond, pre-authorised against your credit card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterward if there is no damage. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this. 
Alternatively, a one-off, nonrefundable Accidental Damage Waiver of £30 can be added to your booking to replace the Good Housekeeping Bond and can be added as an extra when processing your booking

The Fowey Penthouse - a perfect escape.

We are regulars at The Old Stationmaster's House having stayed there on five previous occasions. The Fowey Penthouse, however, topped all our other stays. A wonderful apartment, well equipped and beautifully furnished. The welcome pack was an unexpected bonus, as was the luxury of having two parking spaces. The weather was kind enough to allow us to use the balcony to relax in the sun watching the river with coffee or a glass wine. It was also great to know we had Kay on hand to iron out any wrinkles which might occur. All in all a wonderful holiday. We shall be back!

We loved our first stay in Fowey Penthouse three years ago and were very happy to return to this beautifully appointed apartment for a second visit. It's extremely comfortable accommodation with interesting views, whatever the weather. We appreciated the attention to detail and were grateful for the generous welcome pack. The best aspects of this apartment were the location, free parking and proximity to the centre of Fowey.

A lovely penthouse apartment that is very well equipped. Light and airy with views across the river Fowey. Two nice bedrooms, one with an en-suite and a separate family bathroom. Great location and very peaceful in the evenings. Did have a couple of early wake up calls from a seagull banging on the bedroom window! Nice to sit on the balcony and take in the views. Two car parking spaces provided which was brilliant. Would definitely stay here again but warning re stairs. To reach the penthouse there are numerous stairs and doors to contend with so dont bring a heavy suitcase!

Great for a weekend getaway

We were only staying for the weekend and so we didn't want to bring too much luggage, it turns out we could have packed a lot less as the apartment had everything we needed, including toys for the children. The apartment was immaculate, modern but cosy, with a great view from the balcony.

Great stay in Fowey at the penthouse. Location was very good, balcony was great to sit out in the sun watching the activity on the River. The bean to cup coffee machine was a nice surprise. Bedrooms and bathrooms were good size and comfortable. Two parking spaces was a bonus. Owner has gone to the trouble of providing Spotify, Netflix and a host of games. Would recommend.

The apartment is well furnished and not cluttered and bright and airy. The appeal to us was the view and the outside space. Great to while away some time people watching. Also, well placed for walking into town. A short stroll. The allocated parking spaces are a huge bonus.

Our Fourth Stay in the Fowey Penthouse

We love staying in the Fowey Penthouse. It has all the fecilities that we need, it has excellent views over the river Fowey. The walk into town is picturesque. The shops in town are very interesting, there are plenty of places to eat and drink. As my teachers always used to say to me, short and to the point! We really enjoy staying there.

Great apartment in a superb location overlooking the Fowey estuary. An easy walk into town to access all the shops, bars and restaurants. The apartment was super comfortable with everything you would need for a stay in Fowey.

This was our second visit and probably wont be our last! We love the location , slightly out of the centre but a short walk from shops, pubs restaurants and the ferry to Polruan. The apartment is furnished and equipped to a very high standard and lacks nothing. A bit of a trek upstairs with luggage, but it is of course a penthouse! Would highly recommend.

Lovely place to stay in Fowey

Lovely modern top floor apartment with a great view over the river with plenty to watch - ferry, gig boats, sailing boats and let's not forget the carpark. Nice to have a balcony to sit out when sunny. Great location to pop across to the Italian coffee shop and great eateries in town just a short stroll away. Wonderful to have parking onsite. Everything very clean on arrival and loved the cookery books and scrabble board. Great shower in the main bathroom and although we didn't cook meals the kitchen had everything needed. Overall a very nice place to stay.

Fowey Penthouse was a very relaxing place to stay with every conceivable comfort. It has a view over the estuary towards Boddinnick and there is always something happening on the water. The car parking was very handy Quite a few steps up to the Penthouse may be difficult for some.

We loved our stay in the penthouse. Great views, and short walk into the centre of Fowey. Comfortable beds and furniture, everything you could need. Only point I would say is people with walking difficulties would struggle, as its on the top floor, a lot of stairs. We would definitely stay again and our friends agreed. Perfect penthouse.

This penthouse is at the top of the property with views over the river Fowey and the local ferry. Within easy walking distance of most of the town. Really exellent high quality holiday getaway. Fridge freezer, electric induction hob, electric oven, microwave, toaster, good quality crockery etc. Bedroom with en suite, second bedroom, bathroom with shower, TV with Netflix and Prime and others, WiFi, balcony with river view. You must be able to climb the 42 stairs to the top, but other than that it is an exellent place, and you don't get a view without being up stairs!

Very pleasant property in a good location

Everything about the property was fine and I would stay here again. The only problem was with the washing machine which didnt seem to spin the water out of the clothes properly at the end of the washing cycle. If I used the drying programme on its own the damp clothes ended up hot but sopping wet. I used several combinations of programmes throughout the week but to no avail the machine proved to be faulty.

The apartment is clean, comfortable and has a great view of the Fowey River and the Bodinnick ferry traversing to and fro most of the day. We really enjoyed our stay and liked the fact that the apartment was so well kitted out, had comfortable beds and sofas with ample seating, two parking bay spaces and really there was nothing you could want for.
