Set in a quiet corner close to the river, this terrific property is a little under 10-minutes’ walk to the centre of town so for families and couples in search of a relaxing break in Fowey, it’s a dream.

Designed to capitalise on its riverside position, the apartment’s gorgeous double volume living room is open plan and airy with floor to ceiling glass, creating the perfect spot for lazing back and soaking up the views. Tastefully furnished, bright and airy, the apartment’s two bedrooms include a master with a double bed and river views, and a children’s room with bunk beds. The open plan kitchen is well-equipped with all you’ll need for home-cooking too, so hot breakfasts, laid-back lunches and family dinners can be whipped up with ease. If you fancy venturing out for a bite to eat instead, the fabulous Organicafe sits right below the apartment and offers a wonderful selection of pastries, freshly prepared deli-style meals, and authentic Italian coffee.

One of this apartment’s best features is its proximity to the Bodinnick Slipway which lies mere metres from the front door. Here, you can launch your own boats, kayaks and SUPs, or hop aboard the ferry for a day trip to Looe and Polperro. The ferry takes up to 15 cars but also welcomes foot passengers, so for walkers it’s a fantastic way to explore various coast path routes like the 3.7 miles from Polperro to Talland Bay.

Fowey is a charming, traditional seaside town with narrow, winding streets and a fabulous array of shops, that’s set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The jewel in its crown however, is its position right on the banks of the majestic River Fowey and Estuary which provides not only an incredible backdrop and beautiful scenery, but also ample opportunity for water sports like sailing, kayaking, fishing and boating.

Free parking is also available on a first come first served basis opposite Squire’s Field on Park Road
Alternatively, a few minutes’ walk up to Station Road is where Station Yard Car Park is located. Please note that Cornwall Council tickets cannot be used here, and the Phone and Pay system does not apply

Lovely apartment, very well equipped/fitted

Having read reviews from last year mentioning how warm it got in sunny weather, we were relieved to find that higher sections of the living area windows had blinds fitted. Two fans were also provided which definitely helped, but for understandable safety reasons the windows could only be opened a small amount. We stayed during a heatwave and it did get very warm, but bearable. We found the apartment to be very well equipped and furnished, and the EV chargers in the car park below were great and made our week stress free charging up overnight. A 5-10 minute walk to the restaurants and pubs of Fowey each evening was convenient, with a good choice and some very nice options.

The apartment is very cozy and tastefully decorated, with a modern style and lovely details from local galleries. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The location is extremely convenient, right by the small harbor where boat trips and ferry crossings depart. From the living room window, you have a beautiful view of the water, the dock, and the nearby parking area, which is available for a small fee. We had a wonderful, relaxing week here and truly enjoyed all the great and varied experiences during our stay.

Beautiful apartment but don't go if it's due to be hot!!!

We went to Fowey in July this year, during one of the heatwaves. The apartment is beautiful, extremely clean and well appointed, the beds are comfortable and it is in a good location near to the Bodinnick Ferry and about a 10 min walk from town. There is, however, one major drawback. The living room has a very tall 3 section window (overlooking mostly a car park but also the river if you look out at the right angle!). The window is very pretty but......don't go there if it's due to be hot! There is no covering for the top half of the window and so it is impossible to block out the sun. There are also restrictors on the windows so you can only open them a crack which means there is very little airflow. This, unfortunately meant that it was often 10°C hotter in the apartment than it was on the street and although there are a couple of fans, they made minimal difference. We called to complain to the owners and were advised that we couldn't unlock the windows for health and safety reasons but were told that we should prop open the doors for more airflow .... but the doors were fire doors, so this should also have been against health and safety guidelines....and it didn't really make a difference anyway. Thankfully the bedrooms (which did have blinds) were cooler but the living room was quite unbearable and we were unable to spend much time (other than overnight) in the apartment. We would definitely not go back.

I am pleased that the apartment was extremely clean upon your arrival, as well as being well appointed, the beds to be comfortable and the property in a great location. I do apologise that the apartment was really hot during your stay, however we do thank you for reaching out to us to let us know after your departure. The weather was not expected to be as hot, we have experienced a lot more fluctuations in the weather this year. With how high up the building is, it is imperative that there are restrictors on the window due to health and safety, however there were some fans as you have mentioned to help cool down the apartment. The owner has now arranged for blinds to be supplied and fitted across the main upper window. While a small gap will remain at the top to allow natural light, the majority of the window will be covered to improve privacy and comfort, and the installation will be completed before next spring. Absolutely beautiful apartment in a brilliant location. Shower was fantastic, everything was spotless, all items high spec, super comfy beds. The apartment is a short walk to the centre and was lovely and quiet in the evening. Cannot fault it. Only downside is no parking with the apartment but we did park ok most of the time.

We had a very pleasant stay in this apartment (6 nights). It is furnished with great taste with special mention for the crockery. The kitchen is very well equipped and everything is there for cooking. The bathroom linen and bedding are of good quality... You feel welcome like a guest. The apartment is very bright which is a real advantage on bad weather days. Despite the proximity of the parking lot at the bottom of the building, we were not disturbed by traffic. No noise was heard in the apartment (we stayed during the royal regatta) The apartment is located at the end of the village(but nothing is far away in Fowey),it's very quiet in the evening. We enjoyed our stay which allowed us to rest.If we come back to Fowey this is where we will stay.
