Set within a picturesque corner of Somerset’s tranquil countryside, the historic town of Wells is just four minutes’ drive away and offers the option of boutique-style shopping excursions and fine dining, for those guests who are keen to venture out. The property itself is remote and offers a unique space from which to enjoy the sweeping landscape. Positioned within wild meadows and farmland its design allows it to seamlessly blend in, with the open plan layout flooding the space with natural light and fresh country air. Inside, the polished concrete flooring is heated underfoot, with an eclectic mix of retro styling and industrial chic contrasting the soft, tactile furnishings. Darker wall hues and bespoke lighting reflect off the architectural steel beams, and the modern kitchen with open plan dining area provides the perfect space to create and share meals together. Stretch out on the sofa in front of the wood burning stove and enjoy cosy evenings in; or snuggle up together and have your very own movie night in. The Beam has a wonderful master bedroom that’s complete with a comfy king size bed, reclaimed wooden bed frame and cowry shell chandelier; and the sleek en-suite bathroom with large walk-in shower and rain head adds a further touch of luxury.

Tucked away in a corner of the private patio area is a bubbling hot tub and bistro table with seating; perfect for al fresco dining, or for enjoying a glass of wine together under the night sky.

Security Deposit: We ask our guests for a £100 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved (held as a pending transaction) and then released afterwards if there is no damage or additional cleaning. This will be held on the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival.
Pets: No pets allowed

Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (if your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a wifi dongle.

Incorporating an industrial luxe within the design, both The Bolt and Beam exude a moody cosiness that’s perfect for that away-from-it-all experience, with features like underfloor heating, wood burning stoves and roomy hot tubs adding to the sumptuousness of both homes. Tactile textures juxtapose cool wall tones and polished concrete flooring, with bespoke lighting and luxurious furnishings creating an uber-chic space to unwind in, while king size beds and high quality linens invite lazy morning lie-ins or breakfast in bed.

We absolutely loved our stay here. We went for a chilled weekend and so the use of the hot tub was just what we needed. The owners of the property are lovely and really helpful. The property is really stylish and it felt really relaxing there. Everything has been thought about.

What a great place to stay we loved it .. the owner has thought of every tiny thing , felt like home from home . We managed to speak to them they were so great and helpful we would deffo love to return there again . Quirky , ideal spot couple getaway . Luxury and could not fault the place . Great communication and was allowed to have early check in . We loved it.
