A bright and well-equipped kitchen offers all the mod cons needed for home cooking but for those looking to eat out during their stay, the many fabulous restaurants and cafes in the area are within easy walking distance from the front door, some of the most popular being Carbis Bay Hotel’s Walter’s on The Beach, and The Beach Club restaurant.
5 Sandy Lane is set just a short stroll downhill to the small train station where you can hop aboard and enjoy one of the most scenic coastal routes to St Ives. If you’d prefer to travel on-foot, St Ives can also be reached a gentle twenty-minute walk along the South West Coast Path. Of course, Carbis Bay Beach is where you’re going to want to spend most of your time as this stunning bay is one of the most sought-after in all of Cornwall. The clean, clear water is ideal for swimming, and the gentle shallows are perfect for families with young children in tow. Fun-fuelled adventure awaits too, with a host of water sports on offer from beach-based companies like The Ocean Sports Centre, so you can SUP, kayak, foil and canoe to your hearts’ content.

Good Housekeeping Bond or Accidental Damage Waiver
We ask our guests for a £100 Good Housekeeping Bond, pre-authorised against your credit card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterward if there is no damage. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this.
Alternatively, a one-off, nonrefundable Accidental Damage Waiver of £30 can be added to your booking to replace the Good Housekeeping Bond and can be added as an extra when processing your booking.
Pets: 2 pets allowed, £40 per pet per week, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the upstairs/bedroom area

Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (If your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
Travel cot and highchair: Both are available please request before your stay.
Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a Wi-Fi dongle.

We had a very comfortable stay in this well located apartment. As a family of four we had our two teenage daughters sharing the bedroom with the on suite bathroom so they were happy. The master bedroom not having such a luxury. But its a tiny inconvenience! The master does benefit from a small outside space where we watched the stars. The living space is open plan and very comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need and is very modern. There are bonuses of a huge television where you can watch all usual stuff and even sky channels! There is another brilliant balcony off the living space to sit or maybe just open the great glass doors and let the outside in. The walk to the Carbis bay branch station is about ten minutes downhill. But 15 uphill on the way back. The beautiful beach is only a little further. Coastal paths can take you into st ives and Hayle and are enjoyable challenges. Or just call a cab! On the whole its always lovely.
