Three spectacular miles of fine sand lie waiting to be discovered at Gwithian Beach; where solitary strolls and sunrise surf sessions usher in long and laid back summer days.

Tucked away behind dunes on the edge of Upton Towans Nature Reserve, you’ll discover 6 The Dunes; one of ten luxury eco-home that blend in beautifully with their natural surroundings. Easy on the eye and on the environment, these properties utilise sustainable, and where possible locally-sourced materials such as timber framing and bee bricks, with air source heat pumps, underfloor heating and high levels of insulation reducing their carbon footprints. Stepping inside, the cool, light-filled space has a minimalist and airy atmosphere, with modern bohemian textiles and one-off pieces of furniture infusing personality and playfulness into the home. Open plan living and spacious bedrooms offer ample room for four, with sliding doors from the living room out to the terrace, inviting the outdoors in. Days are spent surfing the Atlantic swell or exploring rock pools and caves with the kids before heading home to de-sand in one of the property's two beautiful bathrooms. Evenings are whiled away on the private terrace with drinks and conversation flowing, before the barbecue is lit and the hot tub eased into for a pre-supper soak.

Discover rugged coastal walks with views over the aquamarine waters of iconic St Ives Bay, or amble the rugged tracks of the nature reserve. Wander the streets of historic Hayle before stopping off for fish and chips in St Ives, or pack a picnic and go seal spotting off the cliffs near Godrevy Head.

    Security Deposit: We ask our guests for a £150 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. This will be held on the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival.
    Pets: 2 pets allowed, £25 per pet per week, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the bedroom areas
