Tucked away behind dunes on the edge of Upton Towans Nature Reserve, you’ll discover 6 The Dunes; one of ten luxury eco-home that blend in beautifully with their natural surroundings. Easy on the eye and on the environment, these properties utilise sustainable, and where possible locally-sourced materials such as timber framing and bee bricks, with air source heat pumps, underfloor heating and high levels of insulation reducing their carbon footprints. Stepping inside, the cool, light-filled space has a minimalist and airy atmosphere, with modern bohemian textiles and one-off pieces of furniture infusing personality and playfulness into the home. Open plan living and spacious bedrooms offer ample room for four, with sliding doors from the living room out to the terrace, inviting the outdoors in. Days are spent surfing the Atlantic swell or exploring rock pools and caves with the kids before heading home to de-sand in one of the property's two beautiful bathrooms. Evenings are whiled away on the private terrace with drinks and conversation flowing, before the barbecue is lit and the hot tub eased into for a pre-supper soak.
Discover rugged coastal walks with views over the aquamarine waters of St Ives Bay, or hike the wild tracks of the nature reserve. Wander the streets of historic Hayle before stopping off for fish and chips in St Ives, or pack a picnic and go seal spotting off the cliffs near Godrevy Head.

Security Deposit: We ask our guests for a £150 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved (held as a pending transaction) and then released afterwards if there is no damage or additional cleaning. This will be held on the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival.
Pets: 2 pets allowed, £25 per pet per week, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the bedroom areas

Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a wifi dongle.

A stone edged path leads up to the front door and opens into an entrance hall with the property's bedrooms, utility and bathrooms located to the left and the living area, kitchen and dining to the right. The House was beautifully laid out. It was home from home. Shower was fabulous,to the point where I'm now looking at buying the same shower head. Bed was very comfy which was a godsend. All appliances were of good quality. Little things like coffee suar/tea,hand soap,wash tabs,fairy,tin foil etc was a great thing to do. Toys and books /dvds were there for you use. The garden was lovely and enclosed too so great for my dog. Garden was fully equipped with loungers, paddle boards and wind breakers. Hot tub was a nice touch too. Best place I've stayed in so far, but that's why it's a higher price to pay. My only gripe is that We had to drive to beach each day because the property said 500m to the beach, that was over the dunes. We walked for over half hour and gave up twice We could see the sea but not get to it,the walk seemed neverending lol,so we gave up and drove.Sobyhis was very disappointing and costly to us in carparks etc. Overall though I would highly recommend this property, Thankyou to the owners for such a fab place

Das Haus ist Teil einer kleinen Anlage und liegt direkt an den Dünen. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche übrig und auch die Größe ist für eine 4-köpfige Familie (mit Hund) sehr gut. Die Lage ist etwas "weg vom Schuss", was sowohl Vor- als auch Nachteile hat.
