Prefect view for a fantastic flat

With a brilliant view of one of the best beaches in the area, it's hard to fault this flat. It's quite large for a 2 bed, spotlessly clean and with a lift and parking there isn't much more you can ask for. Would definitely recommend and would love to go again. You can walk down to the beach, and a lovely coffee van and cafe on the way. I had a couple of queries before I arrived and they answered really promptly. Only very minor point is the parking spaces are fairly tight, but it didn't cause any issues.

This apartment is perfect and always very clean. It has everything you need to cook if thats what you like to do. The views from the balcony are breathtaking. I've been coming down to Cornwall since 1964, and I'd say this is the best place to take in those fabulous views. This year was my 5th year of staying and already booked for next year. It's around a 20 minute walk in to town (depending on your pace) The Fort or Sailors are great places to sit outside with amazing views. They both serve food, although I'd say The Fort is better for food than The Sailors. Obviously these aren't the only places to go, but I love them for views (even in the rain) Crazy golf is lots of fun and over recent years has been put back to its original state..although when I came in the 60's they had penquins in there. A more challenging game I think, is next to the zoo just along from Trenance gardens and boating lake. Lots of places to go within easy driving distance too. If your here at the right time (June) the poppy fields are a beautiful site at West Pentire,It was lovely as always and at the other side of them is the lovely Polly Joke beach. I can't wait for next year.

Unsure what you want? Loved it BUT............

We had a lovely stay, there was everything one needed. Beds were comfortable unlike the sofas, view fantastic. Underfloor heating made a lovely change. We appreciated the milk and I enjoyed the bubbly Thank You Owners :) BUT due to the weather (which we didn't mind) the atmosphere in the apartment felt cold so to speak because there's no colour anywhere and the ceiling lights make it "stark" sorry. When the sea is rough its nearly all white which doesn't help and the only thing to hide it is close the blinds which stay cold to the touch. Problems with the TV "no signal" which the Manager (great chap) got sorted straight away so we were able to watch something but the picture is dreadful and blurry from the sofa. What really stressed me after a 4 hr journey the electricity was off so had to A) find the box B) what switches in the dark cupboard I was not pleased! It says read the instructions first but with no lights on a gloomy day? Lift a god send. We will recommend it as fantastic value for money :) Last moan one morning the electricity was switched off for 4 hrs due to the men working outside - no one informed us - Luckily I wasn't washing my hair!

Beautiful location. Apartment was spacious and had everything you would need. Fabulous having separate bathrooms. The only downside was the decor in the lounge. It felt very sterile. No lamps. Harsh over head lighting and one small rug that didn't add any warmth or comfort. However, I think if you stayed in Summer you wouldn't notice the coldness as you wouldn't need lamps, throws or rugs.

This was our second visit here as a family of 3. Great location for access to Fistral South and the views are fantastic. The flat is very well equipped to meet all needs and comfortable soft furnishings. There is a locker for board storage and an outside shower to rinse off as you arrive back from the beach.sure we will be back!!

A great place to stay with wonderful views of beach and sea. Getting a car parking space is very difficult on Pentire head but this property has one (but only one) dedicated spot.

Nice location and well equipped apartment, just showing a few signs of use age/use. Main problem is the parking, spaces are tight and we had a problem with additional car from flat no 2 parking in an unmarked space which meant on two occasions I had to park in the road. Fortunately I found a space allbeit up the road......This will kn fact stop me/us re booking.

The best view ever!

I love staying here, our 5th stay I think. It's very clean and comfortable, the views are to die for. It's a 20 minute walk to town for restaurants and pubs. There are places to eat and drink nearby too. Also everything you need in the apartment to cook if you prefer to stay put and just enjoy the views. Your own parking spot is always a bonus. It's the best.

The owners have thought of everything (and a bit more!), and the champagne and welcome card are a much appreciated gesture. This made us feel like guests and not paying customers. I reviewed this apartment after our first visit in June 2023, and can only repeat what I said then. Our first impression of the apartment then was "WOW!" and it was the same this time. There is an abundance of appliances, all with operating instructions. The owners have thought of everything (and a bit more!) to equip the apartment. The champagne and welcome card are a much appreciated gesture and made us feel that we were guests of the owners and not simply paying customers, The apartment is in excellent decorative order, and the only (very minor) fault that we found was that the glass panels on the juliet balcony were dirty and marred the otherwise splendid view up the coast. I imagine that the cleaning would be the responsibility of the window cleaners rather than the apartment cleaners. Kevin Moore is a pleasant and approachable manager of the premises. We shall be returning to this apartment in September when no doubt I will simply repeat what I have said in this review.

Lovely property

The Juliet balcony windows were clean this year. We could sit on the sofa and watch the sea. I appreciate this may be due to window cleaners rather than the flat cleaners. The double bedroom en-suite needs a good clean. The small mirror needs cleaning each week as well as all the tiles and self. A second key would be useful so that you when you return from the beach you can open the surf store without having to go back up to the flat to retrieve the key. We don't want to drip water from our wet suits inside the building.

The apartment is ideally situated for Fistral with great views. It is thoughtfully equipped with welcoming touches such as milk and tea for arrival. A comfortably furnished flat with many modern appliances The allocated parking space is a real boon in such a busy spot as is the surf shower and the lift. Highly recommended.

A Superb Apartment

Our first impression on entering this apartment was "WOW!" The decorations and furnishings are superb, and there is an abundance of appliances. There is a designated parking space at the front of the property, and the views of Fistral Beach and beyond are breathtaking. A folder contains instructions for using the appliances, as well as other useful information. The owners have thought of everything (and a bit more!) to make guests' stay as comfortable as possible. The champagne and welcome card that awaited us was a much appreciated gesture. The overall feeling was that we were guests of the owners, and not simply paying customers. Like many who wrote in the visitors'/guests' book - we shall be back. We can thoroughly recommend this apartment.

5 Fistral is a fabulous place to stay. The views are just amazing, it's was my 3rd time staying here and won't be my last. The apartment has everything you need to cook (if you want to) the whole apartment is just lovely and comfortable. It's a 20 to 30 minute walk in to town. There's plenty to do and plenty of places to eat. If you want venture out and don't want to drive, the bus station is on Manor Road. St Ives is a good one, takes a while to get there as it takes the coastal road, so you get to pull in to other beach areas. There isn't anything not to like about this place. I might add..the manager Kevin, who you contact if you have a problem or a query is a really nice friendly guy who goes out of his way for you.

Another stay at 5 Fistral

We've stayed here countless times as we simply love the view. A few things have gone down hill in the area, such as the homeless people camping underneath the viewing platform directly opposite where drugs are bring smoked (reported to council but not acted upon) which but a dampener on our stay and was not the fault of the apartment. However the apartment itself has seen better days in parts and in need of refurb. We were also quite surprised to see occupants of upstairs apartment dumping multiple black bags of rubbish in the few bins outside so as to fill them all up ( is this allowed as they were clearly emptying a car of these rubbish bags?). Other than that great apartment and location if you can put up with constant noise of the people upstairs constantly thumping around upstairs on their floors.
