Goodrington’s sandy beach with its colourful beach huts is a short stroll from the apartment, perfect for bucket and spade days and playing in the waves. The nearby boating lake is a wonderful family attraction where you can glide across the water in a gentile swan boat or splash around in one of the bumper boats for hours of family fun.

Paignton is perfectly positioned to enjoy the best of The English Riviera, with Brixham and Torquay just a short drive in either direction. Here you’ll find all the charms of a traditional seaside holiday, along with boutique shops and harbourside café to sample a true taste of Devon.

We ask our guests for a £100 Good Housekeeping Bond, pre-authorised against your credit card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterward if there is no damage. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this
Alternatively, a one-off, nonrefundable Accidental Damage Waiver of £30 can be added to your booking to replace the Good Housekeeping Bond and can be added as an extra when processing your booking.
Pets: 2 pets allowed, £40 per pet per week, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the upstairs/bedroom areas

Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests. In a recent speed test, the download speed was recorded at 29mbps and the upload speed 32mbps, as with all Wi-Fi networks we are unable to guarantee speed and connectivity

Beautiful Holiday in a beautiful apartment

3 Goodrington Lodge was everything we expected based on the pictures and descriptions. It was well maintained and everything you needed was provided, kitchen has everything, and they also provide beach towels. The pool was a huge plus, particularly with the recent hot weather. Could do with cushions for the chairs by the pool. The location is perfect, right next to a gorgeous park and the beach. The booking was easy and the communication was great and very friendly. The only negative is the parking, it is very very tight, if you have a,big car you will struggle to park on the carpark. There is parking on the street but this gets used up very quickly. We tried to book for next year whilst we were there but sadly all the dates we wanted were gone for apartment 3. There are no local supermarkets nearby so book a food delivery for the day of arrival.

The apartment was immaculate throughout. We had a slight problem with the TV in the lounge but this was sorted very quickly by Linda, who could not have been more helpful

A perfect location for a holiday by the Sea in Devon. We enjoyed sitting on the Sofa looking out at the view - Wasn't too remote, and it wasn't too noisy. Although the bedrooms are small, the beds were comfortable. The Kitchen was very adequate. The only negative about this property, was the very "tight" parking ( but parking is a premium in this area ). Lack of local shops, but overall this is a lovely apartment for a holiday in South Devon.

High class apartment

The apartment was well equipped with good quality furnishings, showers, kitchen equipment, fixtures and fittings. Beautiful view over the pool to the boating lake and beyond to the sea. The swimming pool does have heaters but isnt at all warm and does need some refurbishment but perfectly fine and maintained a couple of times during the week by a maintenance person. Its a short walk down into Paignton town centre. It is hilly which didnt bother us but obviously not suitable for everyone. In the summer high season there is a funfair & circus at Paignton sea front. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and will definitely return.

Just back from a week at no 3 Goodrington Lodge. Apartment spotless on arrival, everything and more in there for you to use, the little things like dishwasher & laundry tabs plenty of cleaning products. Milk, tea, sugar, coffee and biscuits. Apartment itself is top notch, all fixtures & fittings to a high standard, in an excellent location with lovely views off the balcony which is a sun trap. Big shout out to Linda who texted to say the apartment was ready 1 hour early and her cleaning was 10/10. Would not hesitate to recommend and will hopefully be returning.

Lovely apartment

We had a great stay at this apartment. The views are lovely from the balcony and we even managed some sunshine (in March!) the balcony is sheltered and even in the poorer weather it was nice to look out through the patio doors. We took our elderly dog and it was ideal to take her on a little walk to the park just a few yards down the road and then onto the promenade and beach. There is a lovely walk through the cliff gardens over to the harbour and we enjoyed a coffee and cake at the little cafe there (cant remember its name!) there are a couple of nice pubs there too. We would definitely stay at this apartment again if in the area, it was very well appointed, clean and comfortable.

Lovely accommodation in a fantastic location. The standard of this accommodation was amazing, the open plan kitchen and living room area with the views out the the park and the sea were great. The location is perfect for a quick walk out to the beach and also a 5-10 minute walk into Paignton. Both us and our kids did not want to leave.

Lovely apartment very clean and tidy with excellent view of the beach and just a short walk to the beach too!! The only gripe I have is the parking situation. On arriving I could not park my car as not enough space for me as i have a large car, ended up parking it on the roadside. But overall an excellent accommodation

Excellent apartment

Arrived to find a spotless apartment, quality items throughout, it took just 8 minutes to decide to rebook again for next year and so we have. Knowing the area we needed somewhere close to the Goodrington North Shore which is a all year round dog beach, (South Shore just for people May-Sep) and this fitted the bill perfectly. It is on the ground floor so direct access from the front entrance without the inconvenience of having to go up and down the stairs with luggage etc. Swimming pool in the grounds cold in May but the sunny weather helped, and you soon got used to the temperature. Very short walk to the beach and Youngs park. Sitting on the balcony which gets sun from 08:00hrs to 19:00hrs was a joy and the glass panels helped to keep the wind to a minimum. and also they did not detract from the view. Off road parking with the grounds is a little tight, but easy enough if you reverse into your own dedicated parking bay.
