Combining tranquil privacy and seaside proximity the development is set within its own established gardens that meander all the way down to the beach offering guests a peaceful retreat during the crowded summer months.

The spacious open plan interior at Number 10 includes a sumptuous living area with large sink-in sofas and French doors that lead out to a perfectly proportioned furnished balcony. Here you’ll discover your own blissful sanctuary from which to enjoy spectacular sunsets and all the changing moods of the ocean beyond. Relish evenings curled up together in front of the fireplace or whip up a wonderful home cooked family meal which can be shared, along with anecdotes about the day’s activities, around the large dining table. The sleek kitchen complete with integrated appliances and a breakfast bar with seating has been designed with socialising in mind, inviting chats over morning coffees or for enjoying a glass of bubbly while dinner is prepared. The two gorgeous bedrooms and two bathrooms including an en-suite master and a spacious twin, provide ample room for four. Underfloor heating and crisp, high quality linens provide a calm retreat that invites a great night’s sleep and languid lie-ins leaving guests feeling well-rested and thoroughly refreshed.

Watergate Bay is a truly beautiful slice of Cornwall’s north coast, and in addition to sparkling waters, golden sand and an array of water-based sports, also offers a wonderful base between Padstow and Newquay. Nearby sights include The Eden Project near St Austell, Bedruthan Steps, Gurnards Head and Kynance Cove.

Please note that Watergate Bay hosts the annual Boardmasters Music Festival in early August. This is a vibrant, well-attended event with ‘higher than usual’ noise levels. Please do get in touch with our team if you’d like more information.

    Security Deposit: We ask our guests for a £100 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved (held as a pending transaction) and then released afterwards if there is no damage or additional cleaning. This will be held on the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival.
    Pets: 1 pet allowed, £25 per pet per week, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the upstairs/bedroom areas.
    Number of steps: Second floor apartment with two flights of stairs to access the property. Some single steps in the garden and path to the beach.
    Type of heating: Central heating and underfloor
    Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (If your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
    Travel cot and highchair: There is a cot and a high chair available, please add them to your booking if required.
    Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests. In a recent speed test, the download speed was recorded at 45.06mbps and the upload speed 63.22mbps, as with all Wi-Fi networks we are unable to guarantee speed and connectivity.
    BBQ: Guests must provide their own charcoal
    Coffee Machine: Tassimo coffee machine
    Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.

Lovely apartment in an excellent and private location close to Watergate Bay.

The apartment is very attractive, having co-ordinated decor and modern fixtures and fittings and is well equipped to cater for up to four occupants. Its location on the corner of the top floor provides for a very enjoyable, quiet and restful stay with excellent views of Watergate Bay but it is best suited to occupants without any mobility or physical fitness issues, due to access being by multiple stair flights only. Ours was a second stay which we greatly enjoyed and are looking forward to a repeat stay in the foreseeable future.

Lovely apartment, nicely furnished and well maintained in a great location

We previously stayed in this apartment several years ago and since then it has been beautifully refurbished with new double- glazed doors and windows, quality bathrooms, carpets and complementary colour-coded facelifts of some original furnishings. The apartment is located on the top floor of a 3 story building with great views of Watergate Bay. It is however only accessible via a single staircase, as are the other upper floors apartments and as there is no lift, is only suitable for tenants without any significant mobility issues. The apartment benefits from underfloor heating and even when turned off, is very warm, including during colder spells. Overall, a very enjoyable place to stay.
