Plover 1, is a luxury two-bedroom beach apartment with its own fantastic terrace as well as access to a seasonal communal swimming pool, and is the perfect place for holidays with friends and family on Torbay’s stunning coast.

Beautifully furnished and just a short walk from Brixham’s vibrant harbour and fish quay, this lovely property offers guests not only a well-equipped and comfortable base where they can completely relax, but also easy access to all that this popular seaside town has to offer, from coast path walks overlooking a sparkling bay, to wonderful beaches, a brilliant foodie scene and an array of land and water-based activities.

Open-plan in design, the apartment’s living area has large sliding doors leading out to a spacious private terrace where guests can dine, entertain and unwind in the sunshine. The fabulous kitchen comes fully kitted-out for whipping up home cooked meals, and tables both inside and out provide guests with the option of either feasting alfresco on bright days or dining indoors when the weather is cooler. Ideal for couples and families, TV’s in both bedrooms as well as the lounge mean everyone gets to enjoy their own space, and a family bathroom with bath tub is perfectly suited to guests with young children in tow.

Just a short walk from Fishcombe Cove means early risers who like to have the beach all to themselves, can indulge in sea swims first thing in the morning, and with the iconic beachside Fishcombe Cove Café’s delicious breakfast menu on offer, a swim can followed by a hearty, freshly cooked refuel! Days out can be spent either crabbing on the Marina, strolling along the Breakwater or discovering one of South Devon's best sea views up at Berry Head. Of course there are also plenty of terrific beaches in the area too like Broadsands and Goodrington in Paignton, and Blackpool Sands, Slapton and Beesands just across the ferry and over into the South Hams.

    Security Deposit: We ask our guests for a £100 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved (held as a pending transaction) and then released afterwards if there is no damage or additional cleaning. This will be held on the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival.

    Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (if your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
    Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a wifi dongle.
    Coffee Machine: Dualit coffee machine (ground coffee not provided)
    Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.
    Property surroundings: Guests have access to the on-site communal outdoor heated pool (open May to mid September 10am to 7pm)

    There is an allocated parking space in the development's car park with visitor spaces available on a first come first served basis. Additional on-street parking can be found in the area at the top of Fishcombe Road (about 3 minutes’ walk up away) or on Northfields Lane around Battery Gardens and Furzeham. (Due to The Cove’s location, there is a short though relatively steep hill to climb to reach these streets)

Lovely apartment in a beautiful location close to Fishcombe Cove. The cove has a fantastic cafe that serves great coffee and food. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful modern apartment In fantastic location

We had a great stay in the apartment, situated right beside Fishcombe cove . The cafe at the cove was so convenient and Brixham is a short drive away. Highly recommend as a base to visit Dartmouth and Greenway.

Location and facilities excellent

Nothing more than for your benefit the kitchen tap drips and the loo roll holder in bathroom needs fixing. The overall experience is excellent and we will be using luxury costal again.

We stayed at Plover 1 for a week on our holidays & it was just perfect for us! The location was just lovely & with a very short walk, there is a small cafe with the most amazing views. Absolutely love Brixham & will be booking again when we return.
