Holidays on the English Riviera are all about making the most of the stunning south Devon coastline, and if you’re looking for a beautiful place to base yourself during your stay, this swish apartment is simply perfect!
Recently refurbished to a very high standard, 7 Bayview sits within Vernon Court and boasts a light-filled, bright and airy interior as well as an exceptional position above Abbey Sands, and with far reaching views on display from nearly every room, you’ll feel truly relaxed from the moment you set foot inside.

Awash with stylish furnishings and contemporary features, this two-bedroom apartment has a master en-suite and a family bathroom, an open plan living / dining / kitchen area which opens out to the balcony, and a small, private-use terrace with furniture and sea views. Whip up family feasts together or put your feet up and simply enjoy the view, and if you fancy popping down to Torquay for a wander around the shops or a day on the beach, the palm-tree lined seafront is just a short walk down Rock Walk which lies alongside the building.

Tastefully styled and very well-equipped guests can expect to find plush décor and sumptuous beds, modern bathrooms with good quality fixtures, and a high spec kitchen with built-in appliances and a wine cooler. Both bedrooms open out on to a sea-facing balcony, so if you like to enjoy your morning coffee with a view, this is the perfect spot.

Torquay is home to many good restaurants including Pier Point which overlooks the Marina, and Bistro Pierre which sits on the promenade, so if you’re planning on eating out during your stay, you’re just a few minutes’ walk from a host of great options. The harbour is also within easy reach on foot and here you can hop aboard a ferry and enjoy a day out in the famous fishing town of Brixham.

Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a wifi dongle.
Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.
Property surroundings: For guest’s safety, the Vernon Court building has security cameras in the communal areas which include the main entrance and corridors. Guests will have full privacy when using the property though, as none of the cameras point into the actual property.

A sea-facing balcony runs the length of the apartment and is accessed from both bedrooms as well as the living room.
There is a small terrace by the front door with a table and four chairs. The views from here are lovely so this is a great spot for enjoying breakfast. The terrace is for the sole use of guests staying at the property but is not enclosed

This property does not provide allocated parking however guests may pull up outside the building to drop their luggage off. On-street spaces outside the property though likely to be available, can be limited during busy times.

This gorgeous apartment is exactly as it looks like in the pics on the website, i.e. a newly refurbished, stylish and very spacious, with all the comforts needed for a great stays. The position right on top of the bay affords a wonderful view from the living room as well as both bedrooms, which we truly enjoyed despite the pretty horrible weather we had during the Easter break. The landlord is kind and attentive and has been very prompt (and effective!) in helping in the couple of occasions we needed it. I have not given the maximum to Value for Money as we booked last minute, and the stay did not come cheap (quite the opposite, but it had to be expected, no surprise really), so I am not sure how this would apply to more typical situations. All in all a great experience!
