The perfect hideout for two, the Bolt can be found off the beaten track in a wild and rustic countryside setting; for the most part undiscovered and yet within only four minute’s-drive from the town of Wells. Designed around its original features there’s a distinctly urban feel to the space, with split-level polished concrete flooring and steel beams contrasting the interior’s plush retro styling. A contemporary wood burning stove, underfloor heating and chic furnishings add to the luxury of the open plan living area, while a modern kitchen complete with a cooker, fridge, and dishwasher means guests get to enjoy their time alone in complete comfort. A large folding door makes the most of the beautiful setting and rural views, flooding the home with natural light and inviting the fresh country air inside, and the deliberately darker colour palette that adorns the walls creates a romantic, sultry mood throughout. Carefully positioned lighting brings a unique atmosphere to every area within the space, and a gorgeous master bedroom featuring a king size bed and bespoke cowry shell chandelier; fashions a sumptuous retreat that’s perfectly suited to lazy mornings and breakfasts in bed.
Outdoors there’s plenty more on offer with a spacious slate patio being the perfect place to enjoy the sunshine. Grab a throw and relax on a sun-lounger with a good book, or spend hours soaking in your own private hot tub without a care in the world.

Security Deposit: We ask our guests for a £100 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved (held as a pending transaction) and then released afterwards if there is no damage or additional cleaning. This will be held on the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival.

Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (if your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a wifi dongle.

We stayed here for my partners birthday and had the most wonderful time. The views were amazing and Emily and Graham were wonderful hosts, and of course Bertie the dog who greeted us every time we came up the driveway! The hot tub was great too and lovely on an evening summers night. The whole outdoor area was wonderful. The egg chair in the tree and the sun loungers were so relaxing. Could have sat there all day and night! It was great to be looking out to fields but so close to the city of Wells which has some great shops and eateries and a wonderful market. We also travelled into Bristol for the day too which Emily gave us some recommendations for parking and places to go. We will be back sometime soon Im sure!
