If you're looking for complete relaxation in the most tranquil of settings, we can't think of a better place to be than at Top Meadow Lodge.
Set on a farm in the charming village of Georgeham near Braunton in North Devon, Top Meadow Lodge offers stylish accommodation in a wonderfully picturesque location.
The fabulous decor of this property is complimented by the views outside, taken in through the floor to ceiling windows in both the living room and master bedroom.
A large master bedroom with its king size bed provides a sumptuous retreat from the outside world and the en-suite bathroom which is beautifully designed has a walk-in shower and a huge bath – perfect for a long, relaxing soak.
At the centre of the home is a lovely, well-equipped open-plan kitchen – ideal for home cooking; and with so much excellent local produce available in the area you’ll be eager to whip up a few Devonshire inspired creations.
To the front of the lodge there's a decked patio where you’ll discover a bubbling, private hot tub tucked away under the eaves - the best place from which to soak up the tranquil atmosphere and completely unwind, whatever the weather.
Top Meadow Lodge is pet-friendly, so if you'd love to bring your four-legged friend along on holiday you'll find an enclosed garden at the back of the home. And for a really good outing for both you and your pooch you'll enjoy some of the best local dog-walking beaches just a short drive away.

Good Housekeeping Bond or Accidental Damage Waiver
We ask our guests for a £50 Good Housekeeping Bond, pre-authorised against your credit card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterward if there is no damage. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this. 
Alternatively, a one-off, nonrefundable Accidental Damage Waiver of £15 can be added to your booking to replace the Good Housekeeping Bond and can be added as an extra when processing your booking.
Pets: 2 pets allowed, a fixed fee of £25 per dog for a short stay of 2-4 night stays and £40 per dog for a 7+ night stay is chargeable, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the bedroom areas.

This was our 5th year visiting March end lodges. Always amazing, clean and welcoming. Having an anxious reactive dog - this is the best place we have ever found - large gardens which are enclosed (we have a Labrador retriever and she has never escaped). Beaches are close at hand for days out with your dog - there are dog friendly pubs in the village. We come for the relaxation of farm views and the peacefulness. The Hot Tub is a big love of ours. Would recommend very highly as a lovely place to stay. Hope anyone who visits loves it as much as we do. ENJOY

Third stay in Top Meadow for us and our little dog. Fabulous as always. Great location, far enough from the crowd but close enough for amenities and beautiful beaches. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and big safe garden for the dog. Hot tub is a bonus, surprise bottle of bubbly in the fridge, Top Meadow really felt like a luxury weekend break. A lovely hideaway for two and our pooch

A lovely private and secluded hideaway but close enough to enjoy a walk to the local pubs with good food. The lodge was equipped with everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay. A secure fenced garden for our dog to enjoy whilst we relaxed in the hot tub and relaxed and watched the stars at night. Great choice of nearby beaches (and dunes) 10 to 15 minutes drive away.

The location is perfect, quiet and enclosed space for privacy and the town is only 10 minutes away. Plenty of places nearby and beaches just down the road. Local food is amazing as well. Whether you are looking for a quiet get away or a base to enjoy beautiful Devons beaches attractions, and countryside, March End Lodges is the place to stay. Countryside walks, beaches, easy reach of seaside towns, fantastic pubs serving delicious food in walking distance, it literally has it all. The lodge itself is perfect for a couple (and dog) so clean, comfy and welcoming with a super comfy bed and sofa, huge fully equipped kitchen, and Wi-FI that actually works! Great bathtub and shower, hairdryer, views, warm, fantastic secure garden for the dog, Amazing tasteful decorI would actually live here!! The hot tub is a huge bonus with fantastic views over the sheep fields during the day and for stargazing when dark. Going on to value for money..amazing. We will absolutely be returning. We have done many staycations around Devon and Cornwall, this was by far my favourite. Thank you!

Outstanding! No wonder the owners are proud of their properties. Looking at the other review dates we can see the properties are not brand new but they certainly look it! Very tastefully designed and extremely well maintained and spotless. Decided to sit indoors on one day until 15.00 due to very heavy rain and felt entirely at home. The decked terrace with hot tub was a lovely suntrap in the afternoon. Whilst you have a property next door the lodge is very private due to the beautiful planting of shrubs and meadow flowers between.. Having a dog this was a brilliant location for the north Devon beaches. We didn't try either of the pubs on offer in the village but we did bump into a lady on Saunton Sands who was waxing lyrical about the lunch she'd just had at The Rock Inn. Feel disappointed we didn't have the opportunity to try it! A perfect retreat if you're after peace and quiet except the sound of the birds. The greatest accolade: 'Would I return?'...DEFINITELY'!

What a lovely peaceful place to take a break. Upon arriving we noticed how clean and fresh everything was, with a bottle of prosecco in the fridge which was a nice touch. Loved the huge bathroom with double sinks and underfloor heating, not to mention the views. The kitchen was also a very good size with a decent range of utensils (even a pizza cutter!), big tv, comfy bed and the hot tub was great. We had an amazing short break - 10/10.

We had a wonderful short break at Top Meadow March End Lodge. Very comfortable lots of little extras , especially a bottle of bubbly in the fridge and milk. Even treats and towel for our 4 legged buddy. Nice safe enclosed garden and a super hot bubbly hot tub which was frequented often . Super warm, cosy accommodation , exceptionally clean . Very close to Saunton Sands less than 10 mins in the car . The little post office/shop was shut while we were there but variety of shops including large Tesco within easy drive at Braunton. Best route to lodges is via coastal road from Braunton as other routes more harrowing with even narrower roads . Highly recommend this accommodation and the booking service . Very much hope to return .

I had a lovely stay at Top Meadow . The lodge was well equipped and everything was good quality, even the saucepans. The bathroom was particularly good , large and warm. The garden was also enclosed and perfect for my dog . It was in an idyllic position and was quiet and very private . Wonderfully dark at night and I didnt see any neighbours only sheep. Because if its rural position, the lanes to get there are narrow . However that is what makes it so quiet . There are lots of places close , the coast path and Tarka trail all great places to walk . I wish Id stayed longer and its definitely somewhere I would return .

The hot tub was a perfect addition and the enclosed garden was perfect for our little four legged friend. The location was great, easy walking distance to the 2 village pubs who were welcoming. This was exactly how it looks. The secure garden was excellent for 2 labs. The place was 5* luxury. Its not huge but perfect for the 2 of us. The hot tub was great, used every evening but also they came & cleaned it every day. Short walk to 2 village pubs, although by roads they are very quiet. The Rock Inn was fantastic food & service. Good walks all very detailed in the folder. Great customer service. We will definitely be back. Thanks so much for a very relaxing stay.

We had a 4 night winter break at March End in Georgeham. Georgeham is a small village located between Croyde Bay and Woolacombe. There are a couple of pubs and a small village store around a 10 mins stroll from the lodges. The biggest town close by is Braunton which has a good selection of places to eat drink and shop {big Tesco}. This is around a 10 /15 min drive. Go via Croyde as the sea views on that road are fantastic. The lodge was of a fantastic standard,modern design,great quality furnishings etc. The bathroom was huge and had top quality fixtures and fittings. The bath alone must have cost 2K! Underfloor heating throughout which worked brilliantly. All mod cons in the kitchen,literally a home away from home. A nice touch was providing dishwasher tablets,cleaning sprays etc.....all the little bits you forget to take! It also gives no excuse for people not to keep it clean. Outside the is a great deck which is covered,seating at one end and a hot tub at the other! Even though it was January we used this every day and loved it. Its set at a constant 38 degrees....bliss. The lodges are positioned in such a way that you are not overlooked at all. The garden is fully fenced in ,so taking the dog was not a problem. We liked that it is advertised as being dog friendly and it actually is! Not some scabby old lodge with old furniture in. We enjoyed going out and exploring Devon/Cornwall knowing we were going back to such fantastic accommodation. Just book it.

This was our 2nd time staying in the march end lodges. We loved it the first time and were not disspointed this time either. Perfect for a weekend away, with great pubs and beaches near by. We look forward to going back in the not so distant future.

Comfortable coastal lodges

This is the third time we have stayed at Top Meadow and we love it. Always so clean and comfortable and so close to two gorgeous beaches at Croyde and Woolacombe. Georgeham also has two fabulous pubs, the Kings Arms and The Rock Inn. The hot tub adds to the relaxation and the enclosed garden is perfect for our dog. Always sleep so well on the North Devon coast. Such value for money too, whats not to love!

We had a great stay at top meadow. Perfect spot good secure garden for our little dachshund puppy. Lovely beachs nearby dog friendly pubs down the road serving delicious food. Hot tub was perfect definitely reccomend and will be back. Thank you

Lovely stay

We visited for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect And the accommodation was comfortable and quiet. We really enjoyed the hot tub it was a lovely addition. Overall, the lodge was very clean however the shower required some extra cleaning as there was mould around the bottom. The latch on the gate outside also required some attention as it was broken and was difficult to shut and as it had a dog it was important it was closed. I would definitely return. Thank you ??

I cant recommend March End Lodges more highly. The booking and pre-comms was great, left us with no questions and was really easy to find and access the property Clean, well appointed, lovely and quite and just a brilliant brilliant stay Will be returning for sure

The lodge was very comfortable and had everything we needed, the welcome gifts were gratefully received. The downside of being the end lodge was that the hot tub was more exposed to the elements and in the bad weather meant that there was no shelter to be able to use it. If a higher wall behind it could be created then the protection from the elements would be better, otherwise the stay was great.

Top Meadow

Fantastic stay again at Top Meadow. 2 years on the trot, has seen us have the best and most relaxing week. Nothing disappointslocal area, pubs, beaches and walks amazing. Putsborough Beach is 5 star and away from the northern end of Woolacombe bay and monster crowds. Coming back to the lodge every night is a pure pleasure with 5 star facilities and great hot tub. Well be back again!!

Absolutely lovely lodge, exactly like the photos, but only better! Very clean and tidy and in a perfect location. Had lots of privacy, there are 3 lodges side by side but plenty of bushes/shrubs/grass in between so you have privacy in the hot tub and garden. Would absolutely stay here again, beautiful.

Perfect little lodge in the perfect location

Stayed for a weekend escape could not ask for more. The garden enclosed so perfect for your pooches to run around in, and private to boot. Hot tub isnt overlooked and perfect after a busy day. A short walk into Georgeham and youll find a couple of dog friendly pubs that serve amazing food and service. Particularly the Rock Inn. Overall theres was nothing bad to say about this location and would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.

Best lodge weve ever stayed in!

One of the nicest lodges weve ever stayed in! Location was stunning and we loved watching the sheep and lambs as the sun was setting! Really comfy lodge with everything you could need. We were gutted we only found the dressing gowns as we were leaving!! We took our dog and we really appreciated how secure the garden was. We have never stayed anywhere where we can completely relax knowing the dog cant go anywhere but Top Meadows allowed us to do this. Thank you!

Photos really don't do this place justice, we were so amazed when we walked in and saw just how spacious it was! The sort of place you could spend your whole stay inside and not even have to go anywhere else to enjoy.

Top meadow. Not arf!

Great location and amenities. Fully secured garden for the dogs but could do with being a little higher for the more athletic hound that likes to be nosey. Great surroundings just a shame there are no footpaths or walk's nearby. Quick response to any queries we had. Would I recommend it? Yes definitely Would I go back? Possibly but this is only because of the lack of walks and footpaths nearby.
